Got these for work (service industry) to reduce issues with psoriasis and blisters while putting on 20k+ steps a day. Over time the wounds healed and I could work without so much pain. I normally wear size 13&half to 14 men's, and these fit me ok. They sit just below the ankle. They can get a little tight for me so you should look out for that if you are on the thicker side. Would not recommend going up and down stairs.
