There have been some of these turn up with war time dates but this sometimes seems dubious to me, like it was added. These are basically brand new unused boxes that just have some age and discoloration from many decades of storage. The last photos show the damage. We also have them for sale individually here.

Tasted wonderful
One of my favourite biscuits. I was slightly disappointed that a number of them arrived broken in the package making dunking them near to impossible. They still tasted wonderful.

Ok but not that great, pretty bland.
I love Bourbon creams - they are a huge favourite for many Brits as they are the English equivalent of Oreos. Totally unhealthy but unavoidably addictive. So I took a chance to satisfy my craving since I haven't been able to fly back to UK since the beginning of the pandemic. These however, were just lacking. Waitrose or M&S brand is far superior in taste. But they did arrive on time and were well packaged. Of course I eventually ate them all - hoping my taste buds were off ... but sadly, they didn't improve!
