Salvia Argentea Artemis, 2/3LAlso known as Silver Sage, the short lived perennial Salvia Argentea Artemis has wonderfully soft, fluffy foliage, from the fine silver hairs that shroud the leaves. Unlike most salvias, this variety is grown for its woolly foliage, not its flowers. In summer, hooded white flowers emerge on large stems these can be cut back before they seed, to prolong the life of the plant.

I know most dogs that go blind in their later years do just fine, but when they were very active with a daily ball fetch routine, it can be tough to watch.
